About

Heather Eastman, a graduate of Montclair State University, joined CTA in 2016.  Her love for teaching music began as a child while learning the recorder and violin at the age of eight. She added voice and piano to her musical studies, landing roles in high school and college in both musicals and operas.  

After college, Mrs. Eastman taught music in private and public schools in New Jersey and New York. She moved with her husband to Pennsylvania following Suzuki violin teacher training, where they raised two lovely daughters, Abby and Amanda. 

Mrs. Eastman loves spending her time at CTA teaching the Music and the Brain keyboard curriculum, early childhood music, and middle school band. In her free time she takes drum, guitar and ukulele lessons, and practices yoga.
