After teaching in a number of day schools in Silver Spring, MD, Rabbi Silver joined Caskey Torah Academy in 2006. A native Philadelphian, he was actually one of the very first members of CTA’s very first 3Y class. 

Rabbi Silver received his bachelor’s degree from the Yeshiva College of the Nation’s Capital, a master’s in education from George Washington University, and semicha from Rabbi Gedaliah Anemer zt”l.  In his free time, Rabbi Silver runs the TAG Philadelphia office and enjoys woodworking. If you visit his classroom, you might see his creations that are available for students to win. When he was younger, he was a professional magician, which he sometimes brings to the classroom to enliven his already fun and engaging lessons.
