Ms. Eliana Weiss

A native Seattleite, Eliana Weiss moved here in 2015 to be near family, where she found a job teaching in the ECP, her favorite level by far. Children at this age still retain their sense of wonder in the world around them and ask so many important and thought-provoking questions about everything. Morah Eliana sees teaching as her way to impact future generations and pass on to them her own accumulated knowledge.

Morah Eliana returned to college to pursue a master’s in education and teacher leadership. Her pedagogical philosophy synthesizes Montessori/Reggio Emilia with a healthy sprinkling of the Multiple Intelligences Theory.  

Morah Eliana loves gardening, technology, writing, drawing,  photography, knitting, crocheting, sewing — anything textile- or creativity-related grabs her attention and keeps her grounded. She loves spending time with her two amazing daughters and seven grandchildren.
