Bio
Even at the age of 109, Mrs. Katz continues to work at CTA. She loves working with children and being part of this caring supportive Jewish Torah learning community. She began teaching first grade at CTA after working for 25 years as an elementary school teacher in Philadelphia. She retired again from CTA but couldn't stay away — so she rejoined as an assistant teacher in the lower school. Mrs. Katz has teaching, reading specialist, and ESL certificates, as well as a master’s in education. Her other happy moments will find her with her grandchildren and family, on the tennis and pickleball courts, in the Poconos, or traveling with her husband.
