About
Mr. Carlson has been teaching middle school social studies at CTA since autumn of 2022. A native of the west coast, he earned a bachelor’s in history from Washington State University and a master’s in education from the University of San Diego. He moved from San Diego to Philadelphia with his wife, Dr. Carlson of Lankenau Medical Center, for her resident training, and they’ve been enjoying experiencing the various sights and attractions of the city. (Their move here coincided with the Eagles’ recent run of supremacy, so you’re welcome!) He has very much enjoyed meeting and getting to know his students over the years, and more than that getting to know the community of families that makes CTA such a vibrant and wonderful place to work.
