Since joining the middle school team at CTA in 2022, Karen Suchenski has enjoyed  working with the caring and capable staff of CTA as a general studies learning specialist and language arts teacher.

Affectionately known as Mrs. S., she spent the twelve years prior teaching history and English, coaching debate, and advising middle and high school girls at an international girls’ school in Massachusetts. Before that, she served as a math mentor and literacy coach for grades four through six in a Massachusetts public elementary school.

Mrs S. hails from New England, having attended Amherst College (MA) and Yale University (CT) for undergraduate and graduate school. A proud mother of three, she recently moved to Delaware, where she now lives with her husband and dog. Every year at CTA, Mrs. S. taps the creativity and curiosity of her students and shares wonderful learning adventures with them.
