Dinah Bucholz is the New York Times bestselling author of the wildly popular Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook (over 1.6 million copies sold) and The Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook, Expanded Edition, as well as The Unofficial Narnia Cookbook. She started out with a degree in English, went on to teach the subject, and followed that up with an editing job for a magazine publisher in Manhattan. More recently, she freelanced as an editor and (mostly) food writer, contributing to various magazines, and joined Caskey Torah Academy in 2025. Dinah's favorite pastimes include cooking, writing, and — much to the consternation of her family — singing. Dinah resides in Philadelphia with her husband, children, and Mrs. Cat. Steven Spielberg is her eleventh cousin.
